Jen Springman
Jen Springman is a seasoned public affairs professional with deep expertise working to advance policies that enhance Arizona’s vibrancy and economic competitiveness. She has developed a broad knowledge of Arizona policy and processes throughout her experience in state government, non-profit and business association work, and in the private sector.
Prior to Horizon, Jen worked as the Manager of Government Affairs for Cox Communications, serving as a liaison between Phoenix-area municipalities and the company to bridge gaps, solve problems, and create lasting solutions for Arizona communities. Before her role with Cox, Jen was a dedicated and incredibly effective advocate for the broader business community for the largest Chamber of Commerce in the state. In that role, she developed deep policy expertise on a wide range of issues, and built exceptional relationships with lawmakers, governmental staff, and private sector CEOs along the way.
Jen has a great passion and depth of experience in non-profits and building community as well. She has worked with non-profit organizations centered on arts and culture, and currently serves as a founding member and leader of a non-profit dedicated to career development and opportunities for women in government.
Jen is a native of Arizona and has always been passionately invested in the success and growth of her home state. She is a proud Arizona State University alum, as well as an avid cat lover, world traveler, and foodie who spends much of her time in search for the next best eatery in the downtown Phoenix area that she calls home.
