Aundrea DeGravina
Aundrea DeGravina is a passionate public policy professional with expertise working on an array of policy topics including higher education, natural resources, and other issues impacting Arizona’s business community. Most recently, she worked as the Director of State Relations at the University of Arizona where she expertly navigated the state legislature, state agencies, and the Governor’s Office, while engaging with other higher education stakeholders to secure favorable outcomes for the university. Her earlier experiences include lobbying on behalf of various private sector clients and working at the Arizona State Land Department where she liaised with the state legislature, growing key relationships and developing an unparalleled reputation for success.
Her enthusiasm for education policy started when she was still in college and served as the Student Regent on the Arizona Board of Regents from 2017-2019, a prestigious role that afforded her a unique perspective and opportunities for growing her skill set within higher education. Aundrea received a bachelors’ degree from Arizona State University in Political Science and one in Psychology, and went on to receive a master's degree in Legal Studies from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law.
In addition to her professional work, Aundrea is deeply devoted to supporting women working in government and adjacent arenas. She is a founding member of The Rose Society, a non-profit organization that provides opportunities for women to grow their network and provide career development opportunities in those spheres. She prioritizes other ways to give back to her native state and is actively engaged in Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Arizona as a Big Sister. Aundrea’s unique blend of strategic thinking, high emotional intelligence, passion for public policy, and commitment to serving Arizona make her a one-of-a-kind rising star within the state.
